Michael makes great Spanish Paella! YouTube Tuesday.

My mate Michael makes great Spanish Paella!

Yep! Absolutely great paella! Michael cooked dinner for us last Friday for a gathering of friends. Now the first time we ate Paella was in Barcelona in 1974. We still remember our introduction to Spanish food as it sort of sticks in our mind...we had to watch out for the dog turds under our table! Loved the paella and the sangria and always enjoy Spanish food to this day.

Hmmm... looks de lovely. I make a mean paella myself and have posted the recipe on my blog Tassels Twigs and Tasebuds. I always have great respect for a paella maker!
Best food ever>>.

I love seeing others use Coconut Oil, not many seem to around here :) I'm not sure if I will try this because of the mussels, just not my thing. And do have to add that if you cook in my kitchen...you clean as you go so I don't have a '2 hr' mess after you're done LOL. I would have to shoot him if he was my husband! I'd let him enjoy his masterpiece first though :)

H Guys and gals, Jim told me about all your comments, appreciate the great feedback...I really only stepped in for my wife that day, she is the great cook, so if you're into ethnic food, and in particular Thai Food, I suggest you check out her facebook page "Love Thai Food", and of course her website www.FastandEasyThaiMeals.com , there is a whole heap of free recipes for you to enjoy and learn about.Obviously we are promoting her DVD with this, but the free video section in itself is worth a look to pick up some tasty recipes everybody can prepare and cook in about 10 minutes. So my cooking demonstration was way too long then...but I loved doing it anyway ! Enjoy the free videos, and if you visit the Fanpage (this is the link by the way : https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Love-Thai-Food/246934235344473 ) leave some comments for Omnoi, she loves hearing from you...cheers, Michael

Hello.
This looks delicious, but I wouldn't be able to eat it...I'm allergic to all shellfish.

The video was long, but worth watching.

Thanks for sharing.

I love paella, too. Can't say I've ever eaten it while watching out for stray dog turds though. :) Your friend's brave, making his own video! I freeze at the sight of a camera.
