Welcome again to another Travel Photo Thursday. Gee, is it that time already? My, the week has flown, mainly because of our long weekend down in Christchurch and Timaru to visit friends and family. As you may know Christchurch, our home city, has been ravaged by 3 major earthquakes since September 4th last year. Each time we feel the grief and stress our loved ones experience. We can only admire their strength and resilience in such an ongoing traumatic time.
Here's a photo taken last weekend in Christchurch's Botanical Gardens. We have always loved Spring's daffodil display there.

Aww, that's lovely photo Jim. Didn't realise Christchurch was still experiencing earthquakes. Must be scary times for the people there but at least people are managing to enjoy spring in the park. :)
Lovely shot Jim. Hopefully, things will quiet down soon in Christchurch.
Jim, Beautiful scene you've captured there and along with the rest, I hope things settle down for the folks living in such a pretty country.
Pretty. Makes me want to be there RIGHT NOW.
Great photo :)
Looks very peaceful, yet not so "perfect" as a typical botanical garden.
Your shot reminds me of spring in Canada - always a hopeful sign of renewal and continuity.
Looks like a beautiful, peaceful place. Very comforting to go there, I would think.
Daffodils one of my favorite flowers - they just reach out and make you love the weather
Calming and beautiful.
Nice shot!
What a pretty park! At first I was thinking, it's not daffodil season then I remembered you said New Zealand. Doh!
Beautiful photo. It looks like Ireland in springtime.
Spring's the most beautiful among the seasons (for me ;)...I pray for Christchurch...
BTW, loved that photo...
